Anxiety is a natural response to our chaotic lives. Everyone feels anxiety to some degree. The stress of work, home life, and environment can be overwhelming at times.

That alone can be overwhelming. There are treatments for GAD, however there is no cure. The treatments allow reduce the amount of attacks that occur, however nothing can eliminate them al together.

GAD has a lot of symptoms. It is often difficult to diagnose. However, when your physician puts all of the symptoms together, he or she will diagnose and treat the problem.

* Lack of focus
* Fatigue
* Impatience
* And irritability
* Insomnia

These are just a few of the symptoms of GAD. Each person suffers from different symptoms so correctly diagnosing it is critical. It is crucial that you discuss what you are feeling with your physician. It can take some time, and your physician may ask you to keep a record of how you are feeling at different times during the day.

Researchers and the medical community have been working diligently to determine what causes GAD. Although no cure has been found, researchers have able to determine what some of the triggers are for GAD.

Stress, and illness have been identified as two of the main triggers for GAD. When you are ill and not able to work, it can raise your stress level to unmanageable levels. It is important that you have an outlet to release your stress such as exercise or just chatting with friends.

Studies have indicated that those who have no release will suffer more attacks then those who have a release. There a many different no impact exercise you can do. Those same studies have shown that GAD may be a hereditary disorder.

It is important that you are aware of the triggers for your GAD. When you are aware of your surroundings and recognize what the triggers are for your GAD and avoid those situations, you are taking the necessary steps to avoid an attack. It is possible to live a normal life after being diagnosed with GAD. It is important that you follow your physician’s instructions.
