More than a dozen teenage amputatees from seven states will come together Jan. 31-Feb. 4 for the Un-limb-ited Ski & Snowboard Camp, a week of adaptive skiing and snowboarding at Park City Mountain Resort. The young adults will receive professional training from National Ability Center instructors along with the opportunity to discuss issues that are common to amputees with staff and peers.

The Un-limb-ited Ski and Snowboard Camp is made possible by Shriners Hospitals for Children. The private, non-profit Salt Lake City hospital provides orthopaedic specialty care to more than 5,000 children every year at no charge. Beyond providing expert medical care, Shriners makes it possible for children to reach their full potential by introducing patients to recreational activities such as the Un-limb-ited Ski & Snowboard Camp.
