The field guides were developed as an attraction to bird watchers. When a rare or new bird is discovered, bird watchers flock to the place where it’s found to peep at them in their own habitat.

Bird watching societies and clubs can be found throughout the world. They notify their subscribers of all news and sightings, providing all information regarding the bird that is found.
