2 Million Pounds of ICE Just Arrived In Orlando

The preparation for this year’s Best of Florida Christmas celebration has begun… The ICE! artisans have arrived from Harbin, China, half of the two million pounds of ice has been delivered, and things are starting to take shape. Across town, a team of performers are practicing for the return of our atrium stage shows — revised with new songs and awesome special effects. Indeed, it’s going to be a great year for family memories at Gaylord Palms Resort — many dates are already close to selling out so be sure to reserve your rooms now!

New This Year at ICE!

ICE! will dazzle you with its amazing artistry, taking you on a trip to the North Pole. This year, tag along on Santa’s journey, beginning with an encounter with Old Man Winter, through an arctic forest, and into the middle of a Christmas Carnival, complete with a life-size carousel! Next, chill-seekers will explore Santa’s ornament room, climb onto his oversized knee (an unusual photo op!), and watch as he and reindeer take flight (yes, the ICE! slides are back!) In addition, we are proud to bring back our signature Nativity finale, hand carved from crystal clear ice.
