Hotel Indigo San Antonio Riverwalk

Hotel Indigo announced the addition of two new properties in San Antonio to double the brand’s presence in Texas. The Hotel Indigo San Antonio Riverwalk, which opened last week, and the Hotel Indigo San Antonio at the Alamo, which will open this winter, join properties in Dallas and Houston for a total of four in the Lone Star State.

San Antonio, home to the Alamo, the World Champion San Antonio Spurs and the River Walk, hosts a vibrant mix of culture, cuisine, architecture, and history. “San Antonio is a dynamic and diverse city and a perfect location for the Hotel Indigo brand,” said Mary Dogan, director, Brand Delivery, Hotel Indigo, the Americas, IHG. “A destination for both business and leisure travelers, Hotel Indigo delivers a unique and refreshing boutique experience along with all the benefits, reliability and accessibility that they’ve come to expect from a branded hotel.”

The Hotel Indigo San Antonio Riverwalk is located on the north end of San Antonio’s historic River Walk area. Hotel Indigo San Antonio Riverwalk features 149 airy and inviting suites. The hotel is owned by RW Hotel Associates, LP, and managed by Trans Inns Management, Inc. under a license agreement with a company in the InterContinental Hotels Group.

Opening this winter, the Hotel Indigo San Antonio at the Alamo is located just across from the historical Alamo in the historic Gibbs Building. The hotel is owned by 1909 Ltd. and will be managed by InterContinental Hotels Group, Inc., on behalf of 1909 Ltd.

Both hotels feature inviting guest rooms with plush bedding, high-definition flat screen TV, CD player and spa-inspired showers with Aveda products. There are currently 33 Hotel Indigo properties open worldwide and more than 60 hotels under development, either in the pipeline or in final negotiation. Hotel Indigo participates in IHG’s guest loyalty program, Priority Club® Rewards.
