Javits rings in the New Year with eleven high profile events

NEW YORK… Javits rings in the New Year with eleven high profile events. The New York National Boat Show returns to its traditional January dates and fashion fills the halls with six apparel shows – FAME/Fashion 2 Go, Accessories The Show, MODA Manhattan, Children’s Club, MRket NYC and TexWorld USA apparel fabric show. Another January tradition is the annual National Retail Federation’s Conference & Expo whose members
include many fashion retail outlets. And last, but definitely not least, January brings two additional events – The New York International Motorcycle Show and the winter edition of the New York International Gift
Fair.

Here’s what we’ve lined up :
NEW YORK NATIONAL BOAT SHOW…returns to its traditional dates in January
and a new five-day format. The 105th edition will feature luxury yachts, fishing boats, pontoons,
personal watercraft, fishing gear, electronics and great new marine accessories for boating
enthusiasts.

NEW YORK INTERNATIONAL MOTORCYCLE SHOW…attracts tens of
thousands of fans to Javits to see the latest bike designs from premier motorcycle manufacturers
such as BMW, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Moto Guzzi, Vespa and Yahama. There is also a
treasure trove of motorcycle accessories including apparel, goggles and sun glasses, helmets, off
road products and parts for the bike enthusiast.

RETAIL’S BIG SHOW – THE NATIONAL RETAIL FEDERATION’S 99th
ANNUAL CONVENTION & EXPO…is retail’s most comprehensive educational forum and
trade show exposition. More than 200 industry experts will address such issues as how to
navigate in a turbulent economy to meeting the demands of the smarter consumer. Debuting this
year is the Innovation Station, a special area designed to bring together retailers and
representatives of new technologies in an effort to help the retailer maximize social media and
mobile retailing.
