The Park City Chamber of Commerce/Convention & Visitors Bureau will hold its annual Groundhog Day Economic Forecast Luncheon on Tuesday, Feb. 2 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The event will take place in the Grand Summit Ballroom at The Canyons Resort, 4000 The Canyons Resort Drive in Park City.

Economic futurist Jeff Thredgold will deliver an up-to-the-minute and entertaining discussion of the economy and financial markets, as well as valuable tips to help companies survive and thrive as the recession ends. The discussion will include how to gain market share, attract talented employees, and recognize that there is a “light at the end of the tunnel”. Thredgold’s appearance at this event is sponsored by Zions Bank.

“Our economic forecast luncheon has become one of our most popular annual events”, said Bill Malone, President and CEO of the Park City Chamber Bureau. “The variety of speakers that have presented to our members over the years has been exceptional, and this year is no different”.

The cost of the event is $25.00 in advance or $30.00 at the door, and includes lunch. Those interested in attending are asked to visit www.parkcityinfo.com/rsvp no later than today to RSVP for the event. For additional event information, call (435) 649-6100.
