Since their inception in 1937, animated films have be entertaining familes around the world. Walt Disney created a new era of films that have creating fun filled family entertainment for decades.

Walt Disney’s Aladdin was Disney’s thirty-first animated film. Consider to be part of the Disney Renaissance era, Aladdin was based on the Arabic folktale of Aladdin and the magic lamp. This is the only one of Disney movies that was controversial enough to be called racist by members of the Arabic community. However the movie overcame the controversy and earned over five hundred thousand dollars worldwide. It debuted in 1992 and the characters of Aladdin have endeared themselves to children and adult around the world.

Aladdin, a loveable handsome thief meets his love, princess Jasmine in the marketplace and their adventure begins. Scurrying through the marketplace to avoid the imperial guards, Jasmine and Aladdin find an adventure of the most magical kind.

Walt Disney creates movies that families go watch without the blood, violence and bad language that most movies have today. Aladdin is an adventure movie that has had kids on the edge of their seats. It is one of those movies that you can watch again and again and see something new each time you watch it.
Walt Disney had a vision to entertain the world. his idea were far ahead of their time however he lived long enough to see many of them to fruition. Even though he is no longer with us, his vision has been accomplished time and time again.
